SCOTT GRIMO

Based in Southcoast Massachusetts, Scott picked up sticks at the age of four and never looked back. Under the guidance of Steve Lagarto, a Berklee College of Music alumnus and respected Massachusetts music educator, Scott is known for his deep pocket, dynamic feel, and musical intuition. He developed a deep foundation in jazz, funk, rock, pop, and country styles.

Over the years, Scott has built a reputation as a versatile and reliable drummer, performing with a wide range of artists and bands throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and beyond. His tasteful grooves and dynamic style have made him a go-to player in both studio and live settings for a wide range of artists and bands across the Northeast.

Scott is the current drummer for singer-songwriter Andre Arsenault, who’s breakout EP, featuring the hometown anthem “02809,” gained regional attention and includes a collaboration with longtime friend and Grammy-winning trumpeter Eric “Benny” Bloom of the funk powerhouse Lettuce. The track pays homage to Bristol, RI, home of America’s oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration.

Throughout his career, Scott has shared the stage with a number of acclaimed musicians, including Eric “Benny” Bloom, Erika Van Pelt, Pat McGee, Jon Tyler, Louis LoCicero, Scott Baer, Bob Tomassone, Tom Hanson, Jim Pino Jr., Eric Leffingwell, Mick Vaughn, and many more.

A passionate collaborator, Scott thrives in musical environments where feel, groove, and creativity are key. Whether laying down tight funk rhythms or anchoring a heartfelt acoustic set, Scott brings both polish and pocket to every project. He thrives in collaborative environments, always serving the song and elevating the artist’s vision.
