International Shipping Policy

Noble & Cooley is pleased to offer international shipping to customers outside of the United States. Please review the following policy carefully before placing an international order.

Responsibility for Duties, Taxes, and Fees

All international shipments are sent Delivered At Place (DAP) unless otherwise agreed to in writing. The receiver is solely responsible for all costs associated with importing goods into their destination country, including but not limited to:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes (VAT, GST, etc.)
  • Brokerage fees
  • Clearance fees
  • Any other charges assessed by customs authorities or carriers

These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges paid to Noble & Cooley.

Commercial Invoices and Declared Value

Noble & Cooley is legally required to ship all international orders with a complete and accurate commercial invoice. This invoice will reflect the true nature, value, and country of origin of the goods being shipped.

Noble & Cooley cannot undervalue, misclassify, or alter shipment documentation at the request of the receiver. Requests to declare a lower value, mark items as gifts, or otherwise modify required customs documentation cannot be accommodated.

The receiver acknowledges that the declared value on the commercial invoice is used by customs authorities to assess duties, taxes, and other import-related charges, and agrees that Noble & Cooley bears no responsibility for costs assessed based on accurate and lawful declarations.

Customs Clearance

The receiver is responsible for working directly with their local customs office, broker, or shipping carrier to facilitate customs clearance. This includes providing any required documentation and paying all applicable fees promptly upon arrival of the shipment.

Failure to complete customs clearance or pay required fees may result in delays, storage charges, return of the shipment, or abandonment of the goods. Any resulting costs will remain the responsibility of the receiver.

Import Costs and Estimates

Noble & Cooley has no control or influence over customs regulations, duty rates, taxes, or brokerage fees imposed by foreign governments or shipping carriers. Import costs vary by country and are subject to change at any time.

Any estimates of duties or taxes provided by carriers, third-party websites, or customs calculators are unofficial and non-binding. Noble & Cooley is not responsible for inaccuracies in such estimates.

Delays and Refusals

Noble & Cooley is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, clearance procedures, regulatory requirements, or payment issues in the destination country.

If a shipment is refused, returned, or undeliverable due to unpaid import fees or failure to comply with customs requirements, the receiver will be responsible for all additional shipping, handling, and return costs. Refunds, if any, will exclude original shipping charges and any fees incurred.

Compliance With Local Laws

It is the receiver’s responsibility to ensure that ordered products comply with all local laws, regulations, and import restrictions in the destination country.
