CHRIS SPRAGUE
Chris Sprague is a veteran drummer with 37 years of professional experience, known for his powerful groove, precision, and deep roots in rock and roll. For the past 14 years, he has been the driving force behind Los Straitjackets, recording artists for Yep Roc Records, and for the last decade, he has toured and recorded with acclaimed songwriter Nick Lowe. His latest releases recorded with Nick Lowe include “I Went to a Party” and Los Straitjackets’ “Somos Los Straitjackets.”
Sprague has appeared on national television, including Conan and CBS Saturday Morning, and has performed at iconic venues such as the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and the London Palladium.
Earlier in his career, he shared the stage with legends including Duane Eddy, Nokie Edwards of The Ventures, James Burton, Roy Head, Dale Hawkins, and Deke Dickerson. These collaborations cemented his reputation as one of the most respected drummers in roots and rock music today.
