The SP or Symmetrical Ply snare drum is a drum designed to appeal to the more "vintage" enthusiast. The drum is intended to reproduce the sound and feel of the classic snares of years past. It is a 7 ply drum and available in 12" 13" and 14" diameters. The standard depth is 5 3/4" although the 14" version is available in a 7" depth. SP drums are built with flanged steel rims only. This is by design intention; the flanged rim lends the drum the warmer, softer, "spongy" characteristics which define its unique voice.

The SP drum features our Nodal Point lug mounting and (in the 13" & 14" version only) our cam-action snares. They are available in any of our finishes, and with black or chrome hardware.
