This year marked the return of Noble & Cooley to the annual Percussive Arts Society convention in Columbus, Ohio. It was great to be back on the scene, and the show was very successful.
Debuting at the convention were three new products as well as samples of our new cherry and oak wood solid shell snares.
First, due to their overwhelming popularity, we have decided to offer the 6"x13" alloy into our line of alloy snares. The drum will be available in the standard colors of black or natural as well as white. The drum will come standard with black chrome hardware and flanged rims. Better pictures will be posted shortly.
Second, we released a new color option into our lineup. Dubbed "Copper Sparkle" by the guys at Columbus Pro Percussion, this finish will join the other sparkles as an option on any of our wood drums. More detailed photos can be found on our color sample page.
Finally, we will now offer the option of wood burning designs into bass drum hoops on any of our CD Maples kits. The photos on this page demonstrate two of the available patterns. A total of 6 different patterns will soon be available and more photos will be added when we locate the remaining patterns. The patterns were originally used in the early 1900's to burn designs into the hoops of our toy drums.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by our booth and checking out our new drums and for all the positive feedback you gave us! A special thanks needs to go out to Jim Rupp and all the rest of the guys at Columbus Pro for inviting us out and sharing their floor space with us!
