                                        Benjamin Corbeil

Benjamin Corbeil was initiated to experimental and improvise music during college where he soon integrated his rock influence in his playing that brought him to perform at the “Montreal Drum Fest 99” and at the “International Jazz Festival of Montreal.” A graduate of Montreal University, Benjamin pursued his study at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he played with multiple Indie Rock bands. His versatility as a drummer gave him the opportunity to work in studio and to play with some of the finest musicians on the East Coast. His journey to the States brought him to New York where he performed at the “JVC Jazz Festival” and for the Musical “Lucky Stiff.” Since his return, Benjamin has been invited to join the “Collective Ho de Kestra” ensemble and as a percussionist in “Kappa.” He also plays for numerous artists on the Montreal scene alongside from working in his home studio tracking drums for independent artists.
