Derek Kerswill and his band Seemless have been working hard all in the name of rock and roll. Seemless are the Massachusetts underground rock and roll supergroup consisting of former members of Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall. Recently, Derek and Seemless have released their self-titled debut record on Losing Face Records. The record will be re-released in a re-mastered and re-packaged form in January, 2005 on Equal Vision Records, home to bands such as Coheed and Cambria. In addition to having just released their record, the band has just shot a video for the first single, "Lay My Burden Down," which will debut on select channels in December. Aside from Derek's activities with Seemless, he has just finished recording drum tracks for former Stryper frontman Michael Sweet's third solo album. Also, Derek just recorded the second record for New Idea Society, a side project featuring members of Cave-In and Converge.
